Hello Overland Elementary Parents,
Did you know that you can support our school every time you buy groceries or shop online? All it takes
is a few minutes now and you can help Overland Elementary throughout the year.
For the 2009/2010 school year,
Friends of Overland (FOO) has set a goal to increase Overland families' participation in several merchant-sponsored community
contribution programs. These programs offer an easy way for you to contribute to Overland, since participating
merchants donate a percentage of the amount of your purchases directly to Friends of Overland, at no additional cost
to you. It's easy -- all you need to do is register your existing grocery club, debit or credit cards with
the participating programs.
Our goal is to increase participation in the Ralphs Club program from 19 participating
families to at least 100 families. For Vons and eScrip, our goal is have 200 or more participating families, up from
66 families last year.
Please help us to keep Overland a great school by signing up for these programs. Details
on registering your cards can be found below. You can help out even more by enrolling grandparents and other family
members and friends.

Do you shop at Ralphs?
Register your Ralphs Club Card online to contribute
up to 4% of what is spent, at no additional cost to you. Note: If you participated in
this program last year, you must re-register your card for the new school year in order for your contributions to continue
going to Overland.
1.
Go to www.ralphs.com.
2. Click on Sign In/Register (https://customer.ralphs.com/Login.aspx).
3. If you already have an account, sign in and click ‘My Account.'
4. If you don't have an account, click on ‘Sign up today' to create an account (https://customer.ralphs.com/CreateUserAccountDetails.aspx).
5. Go to the Community Rewards Information section and add Friends of Overland
(code 84025) to link your card to Overland.

If you don't know your Ralphs Card number, call 1-800-660-9003 and tell the representative that you need to find
out your Ralphs Card number in order to register it with the Community Rewards program.
Do you shop at Vons?
Register your Vons Club Card at www.escrip.com or use the school phone number when you shop at VONS: (310) 838-7308. The number is tied to an eScrip
account that supports Overland.
Note: If you set up your VONS Club Card number on eScrip last year, you must
re-register your card for the new school year in order for your contributions to continue going to Overland.
1. Go to www.escrip.com.
2. If you already have an eScrip account, click the red ‘YES!' checkmark on the
www.escrip.com home page to renew your card.
3. If you don't have an account, click on ‘Sign up
- It's Free!' and follow the steps to create an account; search and select ‘Friends of Overland' as your
group, and link your Vons Club Card.

While you're logged on to eScrip,
you can register any or all of your existing grocery, debit and credit cards for use in the program. Participating merchants
will make contributions to Overland based on the purchases made by you using the cards you've registered. Merchants
include Bristol Farms, Macy's, Volvo and American Airlines. Your purchases are tracked and available to you online
allowing you to see just how much you are earning on your child's behalf. You can also use the eScrip online mall
to support Overland while shopping at hundreds of popular online retailers, including Amazon, eBay, Pottery Barn, Staples,
